APA is one of the most frequently used citation styles. Used in psychology and social sciences.

Arrange your sources alphabetically by author. Use only initials of author's first (and middle) names. In case no author is given, start with the title and then the date.

Citing a Book

Author last name, first initial. (Year). Title of the book. Place of publication: publisher.

Citing a Journal Article

Last name, first initial. (Year) . Title of the article. Title of periodical. Volume, page-page.

Citing a Web Site

Last name, first initial. (Year). Title of article. From Name of website. Website: http://www.website.info/directory/page.ext
