Careful with blogging

Do not start blogging unless you are sure you will devote much time to quality writing.

Blogging has become a popular activity lately, and many think that blogging can bring thousands of dollars. Certainly, for some professional bloggers, this it true, however, those bloggers who make over 3-4 thousand monthly consitute about 3% of the entire blogging community.

If you have a blog, or plan to start one, and want to make money with it, be careful. The first thing you should remember is you must realize that blogging will take very much time, and the results in digits would only come to you after several months or even years. Think before you start: are you ready to spend several hours daily during several months or years before you feel the blog is paying off? If not, then don’t start at all.

And even if you do start, having a blog does not guarantee profits. You should work hard to make money through blogging. You should: target your blog for a specific audience, keep the pace, and provide relevant and quality original content. Without these three, your blog is doomed.

If you are blogging simply to tell about yourself, think about what you are getting in return. Nobody is interested in your routines (except your family and friends), and you will not make any money on it. If this is fine with you, be careful and vigilant: don’t provide your real contact data.

Blogging is a wonderful activity, and those who are serious about it can earn much money through it, however, first consider your goals. Are you truly ready for blogging?
